Saxophone Lessons from "The Woodwind Doctor" David Blumberg. I'm considered one of the very Top Ranked Private Lesson Teachers for Woodwinds in the Philadelphia area by many Band Directors who have sent their music students to me for over 22 years. I teach Saxophone lessons for students who come from the far reaches of Delaware County, Montgomery County, and Philadelphia, and have had numerous 1st chair placements in Regional Band and have even had students who won and have been finalists in the International Clarinet Assc. Artist Competition - I hold the record as the only teacher to be under 30 years old to have a winner of that International Competition (I was 28 back in 1992 when my student won it). Several High Jazz Band directors send their entire Sax section to me for lessons. A Sax student of mine toured with Wynton Marsalis in the "Duke Ellington All-Star High School Jazz Band" back in 1998, and I was a member of the wind faculty for the "FAME" Festival where the Marsalis family taught. I love teaching and have many different techniques that I use including computer programs that you can play along with, CD Accompaniments, I can even have you playing with a CD Accompaniment at whatever tempo you need to play/practice it at. Convenient location (easy to get to!) and I have a waiting area for parents. I do accept beginners as my only requirement is that the student work hard. I motivate them to do just that.

Parking is not an issue as it is abundant.
